Alex started South West Fireplaces back in 2010.
He is a qualified and experienced HETAS engineer: Flexible flue systems wet installs (back boilers) Twin wall rigid Flue systems
Alex has installed over 500 stoves in the past decade. This gives him a wealth of experience and knowledge to guide you, whatever the project and whatever the material you like it built from. Alex is a self confessed stove nerd, so if the stove exists he’ll know of it. Don’t discuss Masonary heaters with him unless you are sitting comfortably, he will bore the pants off of you.
Here at South West Fireplaces we are experienced in the design, installation and maintenance of wood burners, open fires and multi fuel stoves.
We are experience HETAS Approved Engineers, meaning you can relax and have peace of mind that a qualified engineer is installing your appliance 100% correctly. Furthermore, on completion you will receive a HETAS “certificate of competence”, meaning you are fully covered under building regulation laws.
South West Fireplaces do not stock parts and appliances, and will shop around for the best prices on the market, with no additional fee unlike many other tradesmen. Therefore, you are to get the best deals around at trade prices, taking full advantage of this sales at this point of installation.
South West Fireplaces are also experts in chimney design, re-lining and flue problem solving. Please feel free to call us between 8am and 7pm Monday to Saturday to arrange an obligation free meeting.
